LiveA magical reading academy for kids ages 5–9. Every sight word is a spell, every milestone unlocks a creature.
Problem
Parents wanted screen time their kids would actually learn from, not another quiz app with ads and shallow rewards.
Solution
A five-tier reading world: Whispering Library (learning), Potion Lab (digraph blends), Duel Chamber (timed listening duels vs named NPCs), and Star Tower (multi-syllable words). A sorting quiz assigns each kid to one of four houses, and a 72-creature bestiary is the long-term hook.
Wizarding Quizbook grew out of Wizards Sight Word Academy (January 2026), a fully offline app built for an 8-year-old behind on reading, with 220 Dolch sight words, speech-recognition practice, a parent gate, and the OpenDyslexic typeface. The rebuild added a cloud backend, subscriptions, and the 72-creature collection.
