Problem

Independent drivers had empty space on routes they were already driving, and shippers had loads too small to justify a freight booking. No platform connected them at a price that worked for both.

Solution

A two-sided marketplace with real-time driver matching, Stripe and Stripe Connect for payments and payouts, Apple Pay, an interactive map with geo-fenced alert zones, and a hardened NestJS backend handling auth, throttling, and scheduled jobs.

Client: Mad Freight, Inc. Premier 99 designed and built the app from the original 2019 release through today's v2.3 and its backend. It ships under the client's developer account.

Geospatial matching

Alert zones, a matching RPC, and hourly crons that auto-expire stale routes and auto-confirm completed deliveries.

Helmet, rate limits, whitelist validation, an exception filter that strips database internals, and an admin guard on cron endpoints.

An 11k-word backend route map and a full-stack audit live in the repo, alongside history back to 2021 and CI on every push.
